User Experience Design

About Our Founder and Principal Mentor
The ODC School of Design and the Odisha Design Council (ODC) were founded by visionary thought leader and renowned design expert, Prof. Paresh Choudhury.
With decades of experience in the design industry and an illustrious academic career, Prof. Choudhury has held professorships at some of India’s finest design institutes, including the National Institute of Design (NID), MIT Institute of Design (Pune), and Symbiosis Institute of Design (Pune).
He has also presented at prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Guwahati), University of Moratuwa (Colombo), and the ATypi Conference (Amsterdam). Additionally, he has twice won the prestigious ‘India’s Best Design Award’ recently.
Prof. Choudhury has been instrumental in transforming Odisha into a hub of creativity and innovation. His unwavering commitment to fostering design education and his passion for nurturing young talent have driven the establishment of ODC. Under his leadership, ODC aims to set new benchmarks in design excellence, making it a pivotal institution for aspiring designers in eastern India.
